The Dearness Allowance for Bank Employees has decreased in this quarter. Yes, you heard right. This time DA has been decreased by 1.23% and due to this decrease, the salary of bank employees will also decrease. Salary comprises Basic Pay, DA and HRA. If DA will decrease then salary will also decrease. Let’s have a look at the latest DA rates.

Accordingly, Dearness Allowance is payable to Officers is 19.97% slabs with effect from 01.05.2025. The rates of Dearness Allowance at various stages of basic pay are furnished overleaf. The rates worked out are as per the industry level scales up to Scale VII including SBI.
