CBI Arrests RML Hospital Staff for Accepting ₹8,000 Bribe

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a staff member of RML Hospital, New Delhi, for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹8,000 from a complainant.

Case Details:

• CBI registered the case on 27 March 2025 based on allegations against the hospital staff member.
• The accused allegedly demanded ₹10,000 from the complainant in exchange for facilitating the admission of the complainant’s brother’s wife for medical treatment.
• After negotiation, the accused agreed to accept ₹8,000 as a bribe.

CBI Operation & Arrest:

• The CBI set up a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting the ₹8,000 bribe from the complainant.
